Our dream
In 2019 we had an idea, albeit a dream, to bring something new and exciting into Pembrokeshire. This dream was to build the biggest and most interesting air rifle and pistol shooting range in Wales.
After a lot of hard work, planning consent and meeting all the criteria, the diggers moved in and hundreds of tonnes of earth was moved on a stormy Sunday in February.
Then as everyone knows, the Coronavirus virus hit us all hard and slowed our construction down considerably. Thankfully all of our family and friends were not affected by the virus medically and we were able to start building our field of dreams slowly but surely again.
Our team
We’ve have had over 40 years shooting experience along with a passion for air rifle and pistol shooting. Our dream of opening the shooting range although hard work, has exceeded all our expectations and going to work is a dream come true. We are extremely passionate about ensuring all customers receive an excellent and enjoyable shooting experience at Foxcombe Shooting Range and always put safety at the forefront. We ensure that all of our shooting targets are updated regularly, challenging for all levels and we thoroughly enjoy designing and constructing new and exciting targets for our experienced members and beginners alike.
With the fantastic support of Pembrokeshire Coast Planning Department, Manorbier Local Council and the outstanding talent of Coastal Construction in particular, Richard and Haydn, work began again and the result is now Foxcombe Air Rifle and Pistol Shooting Range which is indeed the largest and most interesting air rifle range in Wales.
Our air rifle range is open air but you shoot from purpose built under-cover shooting points.
We offer shooters of all abilities including children from the age of 11, targets from 10 metre up to 70 metres using a vast array of targets and materials.
Our qualified Range Officers offer you a safe and fun environment to enjoy your shooting experience with us. You are very welcome to bring your own air rifle and pistol or hire one of our own at the range.
